The Story Behind Studs Up Living
Hi, I’m Tracy — the voice behind Studs Up Living.
Studs Up Living — Rebuilding Life. Living with Purpose. was created as a space for anyone navigating grief, life transitions, personal growth, and the ongoing process of rebuilding after difficult seasons. Through personal stories, reflections, practical tools, and honest conversations, this site explores what it means to keep moving forward when life no longer looks the way you planned.
After the unexpected loss of my husband just days before our son’s wedding, I found myself navigating grief, isolation, and the process of rediscovering who I was and what life could still become. Studs Up Living was born from that rebuilding process.
What began as journaling and reflection slowly evolved into Studs Up! — Rebuilding Life After Loss, the Studs Up Living Guided Journal, and this blog community dedicated to supporting others through healing, reinvention, self-care, and personal growth.
The guided journal was created to help strengthen six foundational elements of life — emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational wellness — through intentional daily practices and reflection. Whether used alongside the book or as a stand-alone resource, it was designed to help people reconnect with themselves and begin rebuilding from the inside out.
My hope is that through the articles, resources, journal tools, and shared experiences found here, others feel less alone while discovering what supports their own healing and growth.
Whether you are rebuilding, redefining, healing, or simply trying to take the next step, you are welcome here.
Studs Up Living.
Rebuilding life. Living with purpose.
